Art Sho 6 went well. Unfortunately the Uncommon Grounds coffee shop scheduled a gallery showing of someone else's work over ours so we wont be showing the people's choice art there. Sadness. However I did get people's choice for 2 of my works. The Brandon Flowers charcoal and the mixed medium painting "Overload". You can see a picture of both of those in my deviantart gallery.

hey, if anyone of you go to THS or BHHS you should go to Art Sho 6. It is:
Friday May 6th, 2-6 p.m.
Saturday May 7th, 10-4 p.m.
in the art room at BHHS. There will be signs telling you where to go. It's a student art exhibition and a plant sale. Buy a plant for your mother for Mother's Day?? I also heard that THS students were showing art as well, like a combined school art show. Go and check it out, there's some really cool pieces of art.
I'm showing two things in it, my painting "Overload" and the charcoal portrait of Brandon Flowers. Go and vote for them, the people's choice art pieces are going to be shown at the Uncommon Grounds coff

Escaping Death

wow.. work was ever so much more interesting today.. I was topping a pizza while one of my coworkers was taking large stacks of dough trays out of the walk-in (walk-in fridge) when one of them tips over and falls narrowly missing my back by about 3 inches. Now you have to remember this is a lot of weight, it's filled with dough and there's several trays in it.. it could have either:
A.) crippled me
or
B.) killed me
Once again I have narrowly escaped death...
